exactly. would be very helpful to do so in a simple email or pop up message. I guess we all love the app but this is a very serious problem that lead to a trust issue.

I'm sorry but this is sooo dumb! I've just lost HOURS of work, just because I'm working on a file from my external drive? And worst yet, the preview version of the document can't be opened either! how can I restore it?
