  1. Well the issue is, that if you use the Adobe Reader, than the font looks more bold. To see it, maybe you need a WQHD or 4K Monitor?
  2. @LibreTraining but if you open my PDF-file in AP, then you can see it is text, and you can edit it normally.
  3. Thank you again for your indefatigably effort! The easter-egg, resp. the easter-cat was new to me, cool 🙂 In my current project i simply place the info box shapes in the respective pages. When new pages are added, than i move my shapes. "Only" less than 20 pages are affected by it. In the end, I always try to keep it simple.
  4. But if you open the PDF in Affinity, than all the text (on both sites) are actually text and not curves. Or did i miss something?
  5. Thank you very much for your answers, the explanation and thus solving my mystery! I use a 4k monitor and the adobe reader. I opened my sample PDF i another app (PDFXEdit9) and here the display is the same, indeed. "This appears to be an illusion caused by the different aliasing on the text vs. the curves" - Learned something again. Thanks!
  6. yes i can do it. It tested it also with open sans, same effect. Shape-with-opacity.afpub
  7. I found a strange behavior on PDF export: If you have a shape on a page, that has an opacity from 0-99%, than becomes the text more bold in the PDF (i guess only in PDF, i tried PNG and there was no problem). Is this a bug? Is there a way to prevent this? Shape-with-opacity.pdf
  8. Haha, thank you for your funny hacks, loukash. And your effort to make a video. I have to try your green cat workaround 🐱🤭 By the way, i love cats 😍
  9. Hey carl123, thank you for your answer. I tried that before... BUT the problem is that: if you export it to PDF, than this page will rendered as bitmap. So it is unfortunately not an option for me.
  10. Hi Joachim_L, thank you for your welcome! Did you use AP on Mac or Windows? For me, i can't confirm your behavior on Windows. I only had to click on "Text wrap" and make the settings...
  11. Hi! First post. Guy from germany. Happy with the affinity suite. Best products ever!!! 🙂 Currently i'm working on a book for a client, over 300 pages. So, pinning is needed for my project - for tables and for background info boxes. Every time if i had to add more pages, i must go through the complete book and change manually all the info boxes. So ... please add an option to let us change that behavior (that pinned objects only shows in the foreground). I need to bring them in the background. Thank you for your outstanding software!
