Hello, I think what you are referring to can be found on the top right hand side of the screen under the tab colour. You should see the histogram, colour, swatches and brushes tabs. There you can change from black to white by pressing the shortcut x. That will give you the ability to erase the dirt on your image using the white paint, or if you go to far and make a mistake to rectify it by using the black paint. Also make sure you have selected a pixel layer
Hope that makes sense. good luck...

    Hi johnricard,
    Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Yes, you can do this in Affinity Photo too. This conversion can also be done on export (PDF only) clicking the More button in the Export dialog and changing the Embed Fonts dropdown from All Fonts to Text as Curves.

    Hi johnricard,
    Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
We are working on improving Photoshop Plug-ins support.
There's no automated way to do the same as the plug-in you mentioned.
You can use a Frequency Separation filter to get started but the rest of the retouching must be done manually.
There's a video tutorial explaining how it works in Affinity.

When you hold down the option key, the small cross indicates the current clone source location, the larger cross is where the new source will come from once you click. When using the brush, the small cross indicates the clone source location.
