Are you really suggesting I should overlook a 1% discrepancy in my artwork? I work as Creative Director and I'm responsible for producing brand guides and artwork assets for use across a range of media. When my brand guidebook preaches accurate and compliant use of our brand assets, with specific colours, the assets I supply to 3rd parties should meet those standards and requirements. This is not something I can turn a blind eye to.

Yes, but it's a vector illustration and I set the value to precisely 50% — why would this numerical value change when importing to PhotoShop? I'm beginning to think I can't rely on Affinity Designer to create production ready artwork which obviously is a massive fail. 😟

Hey there, @Callum — the first image shows the AD file with a CMKK value of 0, 0, 0, 50 and the second image shows an exported PDF opened in PhotoShop with the same CMYK grey now registering as 0, 0, 0, 51. 🤷‍♂️ The same thing happens if I export as an EPS.

I've been trying to export a CMYK logo as PDF and EPS but the CMYK values change between the two formats. This is driving me crazy. It's a simple two colour logo. But one of the colours changes by 1% (when I open in PhotoShop to check) in the EPS vs the PDF which matches the original file. Any help would be appreciated. 🙏

This just changes the colour markup to a hex value instead for RGB. That's not what is going on here.

I have an object in Affinity Designer with a colour of #a1b2c3 (for testing purposes) and when I export it as an SVG the colour changes to #9db2c5 (checked in the SVG code). This is driving me crazy and is preventing me from switching my workflow to Affinity. Can anyone help? This seems like such a basic failing. Designer Swatch crash report.rtf
