Thank you for your reply.  I'm using Magic Mouse.  I've just deleted the app and reinstalled and it's now fine.

Thanks for you reply.   I just clicked the gradient overlay icon and this is the result.  I didn't touch anything else.

Hi I've just purchased Affinity and I'm using Youtube tutorials to teach myself how to use. It. I'm learning about Overlays. When I add a gradient overlay the whole image turns red (Linear). I'm familiar with Overlays as for years I used Photoshop. I've watched a number of Youtube videos and this doesn't happen in any of them. Please help. I'm using an iMac.
