  1. Your little “drop” design quite complex >26 layers, could try grouping and rasterizing to a single layer, prior to export.
  2. I’m no expert here, but this looks very similar. How did you determine the colours were wrong. Looks pretty close to me.
  3. This is why the old v1 interface was superior, no hidden settings.
  4. This is the same layer that had an export problem so maybe a corrupt file.
  5. The vdo and file. Watch fill opacity behavior, from start to finish. Remove 2.mov removegrad.afphoto
  6. I cant duplicate it either, but look at vdo as in above edited comment. The object wax created using the pen tool.
  7. In the vdo, the gradient layer starts out at 100%, clicking on FX and notice it changes to 0%, leaving Fx set back to 100% Something strange going on.
  8. I had a multilayer APho doc which I exported to a psd and noticed that one layer was rasterized and the other not. Hmmmm whats going on? 2 curves.afphoto
  9. No in the psd, and svg the vector layer was maintained but the blend mode set to normal. The last uploaded png image is the svg screenshot after blend mode of pixel layer changed to erase. I didnt try the pdf. Untitled.svg Untitled.psd
  10. Not sure I understand, when exported to flat format ie jpg png it looks fine, if exported to format preserving layer svg, psd the erasure is lost. Exported to psd, the blend mode attribute was lost, the the vector layer was still present, so only had to re-establish erase blend mode, and the exported psd version looked identical to ADez. Maybe I’m missing something here.
  11. Really pleased the way this works, numerous vector objects cut, simplifies my design by allowing one vector layer separated into multiple pieces by using a pixel based layer to erase all the unwanted parts of vector layers leaving the background visible.
  12. ok, I was wrong, does work in ADez, but erase cuts hole in all layers not just vector layer, possible to prevent lower levels being cut? Didnt seem to behave this way in APho tho.
  13. I see that in APho, setting a pixel layer blend mode to erase seems to allow layers below vector layer to be visible, but doesnt seem to work in ADez.
  14. Thank you NotMyFault, but how to do that, a screen recording of whole process would be fantastic.
  15. I presume, to do this would necessitate, converting a pixel layer to a vector layer which at present is not possible. I was wrong see below.
  16. I see its possible to use another vector shape to cut a hole in a vector layer, but what about an irregular selection or pixel layer?…. Can be done, see below.
  17. Yes I find this frustrating too the Apple File manager never shows drive or directory paths unless you look at info about the file. Once you save a file in a location of your choice, mark it as a favorite and use that link to add more files to that location. You can rename your favorite folder to indicate its location, eg “Affinity Photo Cloud”, in lieu of just “Affinity Photo” indicating where it will be saved.
