Whether an EXE solution is provided would also interest me. And it is also a fundamental decision whether I continue to use Serif/Affinity. Simply annoying!

I don't like the way V2 installs. Do not understand why I can no longer choose the installation directory itself.
I do not install programs on "C" (Win).
Should be urgently changed again!!!

[Zoom function, adjust window size, Photoshop vs. Affinity Photo]

Hello, I've been working with Photoshop for years, but I don't like the subscription system, so I'm trying Affinity. Good program and is Photshop in (almost) nothing inferior.
But certain workflows or operating functions I miss in Affinity Photo.
 
I often work with many open files and also have to compare and juxtapose them. Adjusting the window each time and then the content so that it fits on the workspace is very time-consuming.
With the (image) windows in Affinity Photo and the zoom function, I really miss the customization options of Photoshop.
 
- When a photo is opened in Affinity, there is always a gray border (workspace) inside the floating window.
It would be better that the window adapts exactly to the image content (i.e. without a gray workspace).
 
- When zooming an image with "Ctrl "and "+/-" only the image is zoomed in/out, not the window.
In Photoshop there is the possibility with "Ctrl" and "+/-" to change the image with window and with "Ctrl""Alt""+/-" to keep the window and only enlarge the content (photo).
 
I would love it if these functions could be integrated in a next version.

Hallo, ich arbeite seit Jahren mit Photoshop, aber das Abosystem finde ich nicht gut und probiere deshalb Affinity aus. Gutes Programm und steht Photshop in (fast) nichts nach.
Aber bestimmte Arbeitsabläufe bzw. Bedienungsfunktionen fehlen mir in Affinity Photo.

 

Ich arbeite oft mit vielen offenen Dateien und muss sie auch vergleichen und nebeneinander stellen. Jedes mal das Fenster anpassen und dann den Inhalt, damit es auf die Arbeitsfläche passt, ist da doch sehr aufwendig.

Bei den (Bilder)Fenstern in Affinity Photo und der Zoomfunktion vermisse ich sehr die Anpassungsmöglichkeiten von Photoshop.

 

- Wenn ein Foto in Affinity geöffnet wird, ist immer ein grauer Rand (Arbeitsfläche) innerhalb des schwebenden Fensters zu sehen.

Es fände es besser, dass sich das Fenster genau am Bildinhalt anpasst (also ohne graue Arbeitsfläche)

 

- Beim Zoomen eines Bildes mit zB. "Strg"und"+/-" wird nur das Bild vergrößert/verkleinert, nicht das Fenster.

In Photoshop gibt es die Möglichkeit mit "Strg" und "+/-" das Bild mit Fenster zu verändern und mit "Strg""Alt""+/-" das Fenster beizubehalten und nur den Inhalt (Foto) zu vergrößern.

 

Ich fänd es super, wenn diese Funktionen in einer nächsten Version integriert werden könnte.
