Gosh, this is depressing.
If subscription tiers arrive, I'm heading straight back to Adobe.

So I have building several images that will eventually be used as book covers. This whole time I thought I was working in CMYK. But after exporting to PDF, I checked the files and discovered it saved it as RGB??? How do I save the image as CMYK because as far as I can tell I have done everything right?

Not sure if this will help - but GIMP can make SVG files of every selection.

It would be great to have an option down on the context sensitive bar to automatically expand a stroke after drawing a stroke with the pencil tool. In the Adobe Stock/Shutterstock world, you can't have strokes on your vectors, all strokes must be expanded before you can upload an image, so my workflow includes me pressing Expand Stroke after every line i draw. On the desktop i just set expand to a single keypress so it's quick and easy, but on ipad it involves 2 extra pencil taps to the menu then the option. It's mildly inconvenient. 
It would be great to either add an expand button to the context bar of node, pen and pencil tools OR just have an option to turn on auto-expand which would just expand after the line is drawn. This could replace the need for a blob brush if you combined an auto-expand option with a sclupt mode. One less tool, same functionality.

When i want to swap object position, i need to open notepad, copy the x y coordinate, twice. It would be elpful if i can just select 2 object, RMB, and there is a button that let me swap them easily.

Hi everyone.
I was working on a file, everything was going perfectly, but now I can't open it anymore. I would try to recall exactly how it happened: 
I used "force quit" from my Mac to exit the document as I had to leave quickly, and then internally from the hard drive I moved the file I was working on from its current location on the Mac to a shared OneDrive folder. Later on, after restarting the computer, I tried opening it but it gets stuck on "Loading 1 Document" forever (waited for a day), and in the process my Mac's CPU usage rampage to 100%. Since then, I haven't been able to open it. Note I can still work normally on other files without any issues.
I have tried a few things:
I sent the document to a friend who was able to open it without any issues. I asked him to save it with another name and send it back, but I still can't open this new file. I also asked a friend to copy a few elements from inside the file to another new one and send it to me, but still can't open this new one. Following forum's guidelines:
I am using the latest version of Affinity Designer 2. I can upload the document but I would need you to provide a safe link. General Description: Operating System MacOS Monterey version 12.6.3 (21G419). MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) Processor 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Graphics AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2 GB I have turned hardware acceleration OFF.

I try affinity 2.0 , it seem this problem hasn't been solved yet
i hope this problem can be fixed soon, i have been waiting since i used version 1,
I tried using it with other software and it can be solved perfectly with small size too
because I often have this problem when drawing small objects

I don't think so. By keeping them selected, you can hide them all again with just one click or command.

Hi! One of my go to menu items in PS is "Delete Hidden Layers" accessed by right-clicking on the layers palette. This is a valuable feature that I'm kind of surprised still hasn't found it's way to Affinity products yet. 
If you could also add it to the "Layer" drop-down that would make sense too.

When expand stroke from a pressure brush path, the shape become smaller than the original stroke. It seems like this bug has not been fixed yet. Is there any plan to fix this? I hope yes.

I think @luki1412  is unhappy about the anchoring in the pricing which seems to not be in the favor of cases where customers want to only update or purchase two of the programs?
The anchoring is great when the customer has has all three programs on one System (146,97€) vs the Universal which costs less.(119,99€)

Again, the universal license is a great deal. I am not talking about that.
Individual pricing is awful. I cant use ipad versions, I do not care that they are included. I have no use for Publisher either.
So my only option is to buy Photo and Designer V2 for 85+85 = 170€. I already paid for V1 which are 55+55 = 110€.
It's just a very bad deal compared to the universal license. I would consider it if I hadn't bought the V1 of the products.
Now it's just not worth it for me.

The universal license is making them less money per product. That is my point.

So if you bought the universal license, youre giving them less money even if there was no universal pricing and the prices stayed unchanged.

Actually I do not agree with the author of this topic.
I used to be surprised that such a wonderful and complex software like Affinity Photo could cost $50 for a program. It's too cheap.
The same Photoshop, when it was not a subscription, cost several hundred dollars.
Therefore, when the cost was increased a little, it became more relevant to the features and functions that Affinity provides.
Remember also that Serif is a business, not a charity. The company has its own rising costs. Also consider what is going on in the world.
The dollar, pound and euro have depreciated heavily over the past year. Inflation is about 10%.
So if all this is put together in a place, then the price offer of Affinti products is very generous and worthy.
P.S. For example, only one program Capture One (RAW converter) costs $300. And it has much narrower functionality.

I do not see individual pricing being addressed there. Can you point me to the exact part where you specify why the price has increased by 30€ ? My problem isn't the universal license but the lack of options for people who do not want all of your products. As I literally pointed out in the main thread, you would actually get more money for all licenses if you kept the old pricing if people didn't buy the universal license.
Apparently I wasn't clear enough. Imagine a user who only bought Affinity Photo V1. They do not own any Apple devices. You are making this person pay 30€ more for this upgrade. I just want to understand why you increased the prices for the individual product if it costs less with universal pricing(per product) than the original pricing when bought separately.

Actually, I’m loving Publisher at the moment, apart from a few bugs that need ironing out (in the iPad version). I’m more used to using word processors, which are themselves pretty powerful nowadays, but Publisher is in another league for me. It’s well worth trying, especially if you have it already. Strangely I’ve hardly used Photo and that’s the software I thought I would use most, initially. I’ll find plenty of use for all of them in time, though, I’m sure.

I use Publisher for setting up mood/guide boards and creating my own documentation/design systems. It is a nice environment to work in like @walt.farrell said. Master pages with complete grid systems is very handy for creating visual guides. I keep it running when doing other things on the machine and need my notes for inspiration...
