It's not Publisher, my issue is with Affinity Designer, but I believe it's the same issue. Unfortunately I can't upload the file I was working on due to privacy concerns, but I've read the comments here and I'm pretty sure it's something to do with a pdf file or the fact that I use an external drive. My solution was to get another machine that still had Adobe, oh well...

I've been using Affinity for 4 months now and I'm very close to switching back to Adobe unfortunately because I got used to Affinity. I'm not able to open a file I was editing last week, that's such a waste of time.

is this the merging blurring bug? from these two posts? I was waiting for this to be fixed so I could buy V2, but not gonna happen apparently 😑

I merged on by one. It seems to be working for me as I said.

I tested very poorly to be honest, I just merged lots of layers gradually and couldn't see any problem, but I'm glad you posted so I'm not gonna work with Affinity Photo until they fix that 😅. Thanks

Every time I give it a shot I get some stupid bug or bad functionality from Affinity, first I had problems with Publisher which made me stop using and today I tried Photo and guess what? I'll have to stop using it, small basic problems like these are not acceptable, really.

2021 and no footnote/endnote yet. Unfortunately I bought the software and wasn't aware of that, it's quite useless to me 😕
