  1. In the video where he's on about how many work there and the like, the main and one of the biggest factors that got me to back Serif was because they are local lads to where i live in Mansfield, i thought yes man, i will buy there apps because they are subscription free, and one main one, they are local..
  2. Personally, I don’t agree with the acquisition of affinity by canva, never been interested in canva, but as a user of affinity photo and designer I have to say I am very gutted and disappointed with this news, there will be no good coming from this as many have already stated, what affinity should do is reimburse the users who want to not be part of canva, I brought the affinity products based on their mantra of no subscriptions and lifetime licenses, this has not been honoured obviously by them selling out to canva, even my missus said it sounds dodgy, and she don’t use the product but even she could read between the lines, the thing is, I purchased it based on affinity’s rep, but they can’t Care because they must have known quite some time ago that they was going to sell out, so all they said was a blatant lie, especially in the last couple of years, that is why I think they should offer people who can prove that they purchased the product in the last couple of years a refund, that’s my opinion and thoughts.
  3. I’m glad that I found this post, you see, I like to tinker around with things before running off to view manuals or tutorials, its all part of the learning and error process curve. I was looking for the stitch panorama option, I could not find it for the love of me, it did not even occur to me to long press on the icon at the start LOL. However, I thought I would just pop in to see if I can find anything either here or in the manual, well I am certainly glad that I came and checked as I’m back to stitching and creating my panoramas. Like someone said previously, it really is a case of an Old Dog learning New Tricks. Great work on the new AP2 though guy/gals, just a little bit of a re-learning curve, all part of the fun though.
  4. Brilliant tutorials about affinity photo for the iPad, I have certainly found them more than useful in adapting and learning about AP, also coming from PS CS6 Extended so these have helped me out heaps about how to use the iPad and AP & AD. Thank You very much, from a new convert.
  5. Brilliant easily understandable tutorials about the awesome benefits of creating your own procedural textures, cheers RevTim.
  6. Some Awesome Models and renderings olmi57, I like the current wip of the tank turret. I have used blender quite a bit a few year back, it was a more than capable 3D modelling program, I’ve been thinking of giving it another go to be honest.
  7. Hello Everyone. Here is a photo from my DJI Mavic Mini Drone of the flats where a friend is living, I thought that I would have a go at trying to make it look like a model village “tilt-shift” effect. I achieved the desired effect using AP’s Tilt-shift effect, I have been wanting to try this for awhile, especially on my iPad 5th generation without having to resort to using my Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended version on the PC. AP is a really powerful beast in its own right, really beginning to start like using AP for most of my needs, keep up the amazing work serif. flats-tilt-shifted.tif
  8. I managed to snap up Affinity’s AP & AD In the sale, I got mine off the Apple App Store for 9.99 each, quite an exceptional price, I’ve not managed to get it for my windows 10 pc though, yet 😉.
  9. Hi All. My name is Mark, I’m in my low 40’s, recently purchased Affinity Photo and Designer for iPad 5th generation, I must admit I am very impressed with them both, especially for the current asking price, bit of a learning curve for sure but that’s where the fun’s at I suppose. I will be using AP for a lot of my Drone Shots and Astrophotography images. Look forwards to seeing what everyone else has been doing with AP & AD.
