  1. Hi.. So after heavy investigation and a lot of trial and error, i found out that the root cause of the stuttering is Logitech GHub. Affinity Photo is still not blazing fast, but it's much better after removing GHub.
  2. Hi I'm experiencing VERY LAGGY performance on my machine when using (or trying to use Affinity Photo) I'm aware of an issue with AMD Ryzen CPU's where high CPU usage will make the mouse laggy: Specific high CPU usage will cause the mouse to lag. I experience this when activating Windows Update or similar high CPU tasks. Gaming doesn't affect this though... However - Regardless of what settings i use in Affinity Photo, the mouse / interface lags ALL THE TIME. I've tried disabling Hardware accelleration and choose another renderer, but none of it helps. So - my Question is: is this a bug or something that the developers are aware of or working on ? (I'm unsure if this relates to the AMD OpenCL thread, considering i have an Nvidia GPU) PC Specs: - Windows 11 professional (latest update) - Asus ROG B550-F (newest bios) - AMD Ryzen 5600x - Asus RTX 3060TI (newest drivers) UPDATE: So i thought that my issue might be related to the fTPM issue with AMD CPU / Motherboard. And i have now update BIOS to latest version. this latest version are supposed to fix the fTPM issue. Affinity Photo still lags terribly
  3. I want this too !! But ... I wonder if it's necessary for anyone to actually develop a new version of Picasa, given that it stil works beautifully ... The ONLY feature i would like implemented in picasa would be better RAW development. and finer adjustments for various edits... So ... I'd love to puchase a license for Affinity Photolibrary when they make one. Which has all the best features from Picasa + more
  4. There's NO reason why you shouldn't have the ability to disable auto updates... Also - it's meant to upgrade when you are not using the program.. eg after you close Affinity Photo. (just like a lot of programs do these days)
  5. Instead of letting me download the update and install it manually. It would be nice if Affinity Photo would update automatically in the background...
  6. If i want to open JFIF files (Some obscure Microsoft Photo Filetype) , Affinity doesn't show this document type in the pick-a-file dialog... Even though "All Documents" are selected, the JFIF files are not shown. they ARE supported by Affinity Photo .. but it's just a bit harder to open them.
