  1. Thank you all for your comments. Seems like this is something developers consider too easy to do, so they skip it till never. Even if it is a function used daily by many people. I think I'm gonna have to use Irfanview for it. A shame.
  2. Hi, I have a folder with images in various formats, sizes and aspect ratios. Now I want to resize them all to maximum dimensions of 1200x1200px, keeping the aspect ratio, and add a logo in the bottom right corner. Sounds easy, but it isn't. resizing works, but how do I get the logo right? In some it's completely missing and in others it is placed somewhere in the image. Any suggestions?
  3. The Document>Resize does not allow to set maximum dimensions as in the batch job settings. So it is a problem if you have images in various aspect ratios.
  4. Thank you very much for this workaround. Initially I was assuming it would be the same function as open file. Learning never stops.
  5. with "add file to batch" the field for types (.jpg, . afphoto etc.) is not writable and not selectable. I am on Windows. Seems like a bug.
  6. Hi, found this post which seems close to the problem I have: I added a few jpgs to a batch job, set the dimensions to be reduced to 1200px and used a macro to add a logo to the images. I assumed, the image would be resized before the logo was added, but since the logo comes out too small it seems not. It would be good if one could set the order of processes. Any Idea to get around this in one step?
  7. yes it works with the open function, but I have been trying to use it to add files to a new batch job, where it does not work. I just assumed it would be the same as open file.
  8. When trying to open a specific file type, eg. *.afphoto or *.jpg, this is not possible. It shows all possible files. It should be possible to select a specific file type to open and hide all the others.
