Glyphs got a reaction from walt.farrell in Cannot Restore Purchases
Thanks Walt! It took some tweaking but it worked!
That was actually how I ended up with a license for Affinity Designer 2 only at some point, but at the time, the App didn't register any license on my account (and I did try both my password entries).
It actually doesn't happen right away. If I remember well how I finally did it, you first have to click Restore Purchases, then go back to the Buy Screen and click Buy to have the Register Screen displayed at last. And maybe enter the right password at the first try. Entering a wrong password first, then the right password, might lead to a situation where the App looks registered to your name, but no license is registered in your account, like what happened to me a few days ago.
The Affinity programmers invented the first registration process that looks like a video game cheat code 🙂

Glyphs got a reaction from Gabe in Memory leak with Preflight Check
I solved the problem yesterday after a few hours trying to isolate the page which was crashing everything. It was a page in which I had placed by mistake a Publisher file instead of an Affinity Photo file (the Publisher file had the same first page as the Photo file). As soon as I deleted the placed file, the file worked fine again. I then tried to open the Publisher file I imported in it, but it made the App crash too, so I thought it was corrupted. Today, when I started my computer and had your reply, I try to open both files, and everything worked fine. I have been trying to reproduce the bug by placing this same Publisher file again, but it works fine too. I'm not sure if it would be useful to send you the files or not. As soon as the problem happen again, I'll be sure to send it.

Glyphs got a reaction from skmwrp in Grouping and selecting page thumbnails
I am trying to use as less files as possible for comic projects using the same pages (digital/print editions, reprints, trade paperbacks, revised editions, etc.), and I think one of the ways to do this would be to have the option of grouping Page thumbnails into folders, and having a check box beside each page and folder. This way, we could just check the pages to export in a project before exporting it to PDF for example. Would it be possible to have such an option in Affinity Publisher?

Glyphs got a reaction from walt.farrell in Updating Photo and Designer files in Publisher
Sorry for the delay in replying, I had to correct my book file a second time because of a bug I didn't know about… I tried double-clicking the image instead of its layer, and it's working fine both ways. As long as I remember not to double click the layers to edit it, everything should be fine.

Still no way to save Interface Layouts? I just updated Affinity Designer & Photo to versions 1.6, and both my custom interfaces are gone, replaced by the default ones. Saving Interface Layouts would help, at least in this instance.

Glyphs got a reaction from peterterhorst in Text processing in Publisher
For now, I am only using Publisher to paste text I already created in a text processing application, but it would be easier if I could create the text directly in Publisher. For this, I would need a text processing environment directly in Publisher, like in Adobe PageMaker. Is it possible to implement such a function in a future release?

Thank you for your reply! The TOC being at the end of the book, it was only a matter of checking the "Include entries before TOC" section.
