The video was a rather brief and not very detailed in explaining Blend Options. Here's a video by the Affinity guys explaining Blend Ranges -

Macro creation crash - Beta 1.5
livetheshot replied to livetheshot's topic in [ARCHIVE] Photo beta on macOS threads
Just to add on to this issue, now I can't even create any new macros at all because the program keeps crashing and closing whenever I try to. -
I created a macro to add some colour grading using levels, add camera filter with a mask created using detect edges and finished with a USM live filter (lighten blend mode). The entire program crashed and didn't want to re-open the same file. I selected the option to start the program fresh and decided to test the batch processing using the macro that I created above. Before I could click process, the entire program crashed again. Attached is a zip file of the logs. log.zip

Batch job - cpu and ram usage question
livetheshot replied to livetheshot's topic in [ARCHIVE] Photo beta on macOS threads
I've been unsuccessful at replicating the issue. Though I did do a batch job the other day with 56 images with parallel processing and it was on the verge of crashing as I had the beachball appear around file #40. Perhaps close this issue and if it appears again, I'll raise it in the bugs forum. -
When you export under Live Projection view, it only exports as the view and not the full 360 pano. To replicate: - Edit Live Projection - Export JPG

Batch job - cpu and ram usage question
livetheshot replied to livetheshot's topic in [ARCHIVE] Photo beta on macOS threads
I'll give it another go next week to see if I can replicate the crash. I've been using it for production use but only without parallel processing. -
I started using the batch job to convert 70 afphoto files to JPGs. The first time, I had parallel processing checked and it crashed after working through 20 or so files. The whole system automatically rebooted itself. I tried again and this time unchecked parallel processing so it would work through one file at a time. I tracked the resource usage in activity monitor. It didn't crash, thankfully, however I'm wondering if this is normal behaviour for the batch job to use as many resources as attached. I'm running a Mac Pro 4,1 8 core 2.26 GHz with 64Gb RAM and 2Gb GPU. Thanks!

Batch job - afphoto files

Let me rephrase, 72 dpi for web optimised images ;) -
Hi, Will the final release allow us to select AFPhoto files to add to the batch jobs? Also, is there a way to adjust the dpi in the batch job? This would be really handy if we want to create a 72 dpi version for screen display only. Thanks!

As a suggestion by one of the mods about my post, can we please have a shortcut or someway to streamline the 360 view editing process? When you're in 360 pan view and switch to another tool, then switch back to pan, you have to re-click the 360 view. It's one click but when you have to do it multiple times, it becomes additional clicks that aren't needed. A shortcut would be great!
