large bmp files

Hello, I am in search of software that will open large (up to 4GB) BMP files and convert them to tiff or similar. Since there is no trial version of Affinity Photo to try it out myself I wonder if anyone could tell if this is possible in Affinity Photo? Many thanks, Marc
