Ah, thanks, for the welcome and your answer. That's awesome, I'm on V1 though, didn't even realize there is a V2
I'm in the middle of a career switch; graphic designer turning market gardener. So I'll manage adding the extra anchor points manually with the node tool, for now.

Hm from a usability stand point this is not good.
I should not have to set the document background to transparent for exporting a transparent PNG slice.
The exporter should be able to ignore the background of the artboard intead guys!
