  1. I took away the line breaks and it fixed the issue! Could you explain why that was messing up the formatting?
  2. Hey, everyone! For some reason, I stopped receiving notifications of your advice and forgot about this thread until I opened my document again. I look at some of the options you all have suggested! Handbook.afpub
  3. I tried to left justify my text to look cleaner, but there were some weird results. I have 3 words spaced very far apart on one line. Any suggestions for fixing this?
  4. Occasionally, I encounter a problem where I have massive spacing issues within my frame text. For the life of me, I cannot get it fixed. I tried turning off the baseline grid, checked insets, paragraph spacing, etc. Help would be great!
  5. I am also having trouble exporting this file to a digital PDF. I remember seeing once that if I post broken URL links, it won't work, but I checked all of them, and all of them worked. So, I am not sure why this isn't exporting correctly. Is there an easy to check for link issues? 3_March.afpub
  6. @wonderings I usually print them myself through the school printer, but it shouldn't be hard to have something printed on a two-sided piece of paper that I fold in half. But it's not just that, the whole formatting is messed up. I convert the document to pdf and then I select booklet to put the pages in the order. The front and back cover shrink to the size of the half-page just fine, but the pages two and three get mushed together on page 2. It shouldn't be this way.
  7. I cannot figure out how to make a bi-fold template with Affinity Publisher. A bi-fold program is where you take a typical 8.5X11" sheet of page (A4) and fold it in half horizontally. I've tried putting the paper in landscape mode and separating out the sections using guides, which is fine to do for a 4 page concert program, but it defeats the purpose when I want a more involved program of several pages. I've tried printing with and without having facing pages turned on. I've also tried using an A5 size document, but I can't figure it out. I know that it's a pre-set template for Microsoft Publisher, which I don't want to use. I like Affinity Publisher, but as a band director, I really need help with this. Thank you.
  8. I am trying to figure out how to create a concert program for my bands. These programs are typically made with an 8.5x11 sheet of paper that's divided in half, so that when it prints, you get 4 pages worth of program information. Sometimes, these can be multiple pages (think musical playbill). So, I've spent a lot of time trying to research how to create these and I am not coming up with anything. I want to be able to number the pages consecutively and not have to add guidelines on every single page each time I want to make a program. Our choir director is easily able to this on Microsoft Publisher since there are presets for this layout. I can't even figure out how to create a template/layout in Affinity Publisher. I really think this app will be awesome to use once I get used to it, but this is not the most comforting way to get started. I really hope this made sense. I've attached a photo of a sample concert program in case that helps.
