In Publisher you can add a Preflight comment – e.g. "don't print me!" – to any object(s) you don't want to print. Then, with the "Default" preflight profile active, whenever you try to print or export, you will be prompted to check out the Preflight panel for warnings or errors. Then just hide anything you don't want to print
In Designer, Photo or via Designer/Photo persona in Publisher, you can use Snapshots to save states with non-printing objects hidden.
In Photo 2 or via Photo persona in Publisher 2, you can use the new States feature/panel, see the help documentation.
In all three apps, you can name each object in the Layers panel with a corresponding name, e.g. "Don't print me!". To disable all nonprinting objects, select one of them, then click Select > Select Same > Name, then click the Hide button to hide them all.

I would like to have a direct non-printing object attribute as well.

I thought V2 would have AutoTrace, SO disappointed thinking twice about upgrade!

i cant believe that anyone would complain about discounts for affinity  software ... go buy photoshop and then justify your moans  about pricing . Affinity is a bargain at twice the price .... If you dont like the fact they are discounting during a global pandemic stop using affinity and use other software

So will all loyal customers -  been with Serif since PagePlus Release 1 in 1990 - be getting a refund? I await Affinity's generosity! 

I have just received your completely unnecessary email of 19 January "We’re here to help – use our apps free for 90 days" WHY I am a registered used of all three apps plus add ons. I do not need to be offered a 90  Day Free Trial, and 50% off all apps etc.
Unnecessary emails clog up email in boxes and will tend in the future to just dump email from affinity without reading them.
Someone in your marketing departments needs to be sacked.
Please put a stop on this type of email to existing customers.

Having paid full price for the apps as an early adopter I find late-comers getting it half price galling! No incentive to pay the full price in future just wait and you can have it discounted! Not really a good way to support existing long term loyal customers is it!
So advertising to loyal customers that late-comers get it at a knock down price is hardly good promotion!

In the email you received you have the option to opt-out of future emails (at the bottom)
Just don't come back and complain when you miss out on something you wanted, like Version 2.0 at 50% off
