No, they are in designer and photo on my Mac and they are in photo for iPad but not in designer for iPad. On my Mac in designer I can switch between designer persona and pixel persona no problem but on the iPad they're not in either.

You will have to excuse me. I'm new to Affinity. I got photo first on my Mac, I liked that so I got Designer for Mac, then I thought it would be useful on the iPad, so i got them both for the pad. The dodge, burn and smudge tools are in all except iPad designer and I thought they were hidden somewhere. I suppose I could try switching the document between Designer and photo to use those tools,

thank you for that, they are in designer on my Mac. is there a reason they are not included on the ipad version, and how do i dodge and burn without them ? I like them for subtle shading.

I’m a great fan of the pen tool but i can’t seem to get it to work as fluently on the iPad as it does in other programs. When I go to edit a path with the node tool and I just want to edit one side of the node independently, I can’t, I’ve tried deleting the opposite handle to the one I want and that lets me do what I want, but then it disappears forever and I can’t edit it anymore. What am I doing wrong ?

Hello guys, I have just started with Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer, I'm working on an iMac and the O/S is Big Sur. I have a problem with the selection tool, the intersect tab doesn't seem to work.
If I make a selection then trigger the intersect button and start to make the intersecting selection the first selection disappears. Is there something I'm not doing ?

Mine is the same, on my Mac, O/S big sur, in designer, the dodge and burn are in the pixel persona but not the design persona but it’s not the same on the iPad.
