I'd love for there to be a setting so that “Create Artboard” in the New Document dialog in designer can be set as the default. I often forget that checkbox because I’m usually just focused on the Dimensions pane and then I have to go back and start again, or manually make an artboard.

Very often when dragging things, particularly when I’m drawing a new box or other shape, the document gets a little shifty and it scrolls around ever so slightly, so that getting precision is very difficult. I’ve done tests to be sure I’m not activating the two-finger scroll on my magic mouse. It just jumps around a little bit so that I often miss the spot I’m targeting. It can get very frustrating. macOS Affinity Designer (might also be a problem in Photo… can't remember)

I made a file in Affinity Designer, but every time I double click to open it, Affinity Photo opens instead. It should always default to the app it was created in. Thanks!

It would be nice if the text navigation hotkeys conformed to the OS standards. In most apps Command + Right Arrow takes your cursor to the end of the row, in Affinity Designer, it just takes you to the next word, like Option + Right Arrow does.
