  1. I just updated to Affinity 1.10.3 on my Macbook Pro running OS X 10.14.6 and as soon as I try to use it, it starts flashing random things on the screen and locks up my system. I have to Force Quit to get control back. I'd appreciate any suggestions for how to fix this, or at least how to revert to the previous version. Thanks.
  2. I am using Affinity 1.7.3 on a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.13.6. The problem I am seeing happens when I have a photo opened and then open the Info Panel. I can set the Info Panel crosshair to anywhere in the picture to observe changes in RGB values as I make adjustments to the picture. If I open up an adjustment such as HSL, Color Balance, etc I can move the adjustment sliders and observe changes in the picture, however the Info Panel RBG values don't change until I release the mouse button. I have seen numerous videos where the Info Panel RGB indicators change dynamically with changes in the slider, but I can't get my system to operate this way. I observe the same behavior on my Mac whether I use the trackpad or an external USB mouse. Does anyone have any idea if there is a way to get the Info Panel indicators to operate dynamically as the adjustment sliders are changed?
  3. Thank you. The video I was watching didn't specify what machine Affinity Photo was running on.
  4. I was looking at a YouTube video explaining some feature of Affinity Photo and the user interface on the right side of the screen for the Studio panels was different than what I have on my Mac. I looked for some setting to change how the Studio interface is displayed but couldn't find anything. I've included a picture of the Studio interface that was shown in the video. Could anyone identify how this interface setting is changed? Thanks.
  5. I finally restarted Affinity Photo and was happy to see that I was able to open the Sources panel. Not sure why that fixed the problem but it did.
  6. I recently saw some videos on how to use the Sources panel in Affinity Photo 1.6.7. I tried to display it by selecting it in the View>Studio>Sources menu. However, the Sources panel doesn't display and it doesn't appear checked in the menu. I can get other panels to display but not the Sources panel. Can anyone offer suggestions for why this panel might not be appearing?
  7. One of the features I used a lot in Photoshop Elements was the Adjust Color for Skin Tone feature. I've searched through the Affinity Photo menus but haven't found something similar. Is this feature currently included in Affinity Photo?
  8. I have been searching through the Affinity Photo menus looking for a capability to do a manual check for update. I assume that if an update is available I'll get some notification from the App Store, but I'd still like to know if the ability to check for updates is built in to Affinity Photo.
  9. I just started using Afinity Photo and was looking for some quick way to set the foreground and background colors to black and white. I know that I can use the color palate to se them individually, but is there some quicker way to do it?
