  1. Hi, apologies for this. I'm not sure if you've seen it, but there is a thread about it just underneath this one. We've identified the cause, and there is a temporary work around (press Ctrl+Alt twice), but we'll look at fixing this soon. Thanks.
  2. Do you have Mouse Mode enabled? Do you have Windows Ink enabled? Do you have custom mapping regions configured?
  3. I needed to press Ctrl+Alt then release, then press Ctrl+Alt again, and that fixed it.
  4. Also, pressing Ctrl+Alt together after the cursor has disappeared should fix it (and it should only happen in brush tools).
  5. If you open the Wacom Properties app, it will tell you.
  6. Original report, for reference: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/101845-startsuggestion-pop-up-window-wont-go-away-check-box-does-nothing/
  7. Thanks for the suggestion. I have the "Show this panel on startup" unticked, and I don't see the panel on startup. I had a look in our bug database, and can see this bug was reported in 2016, but it was marked as fixed in 1.4.2.8 (the same month as it was reported), so I'm a little surprised you're still experiencing it. Try deleting the contents of the following folder, and trying again: %APPDATA%\Affinity\Photo\1.0\CrashReports
  8. It matters because we have a few other customers who are reporting problems with pen input when they have "Mouse Mode" enabled in their Wacom preferences. We changed it because people were experiencing problems with pen input. On top of that, as I explained in the previous post, the input is now much better in 1.8.4, compared to 1.8.3. Previously you were getting the input points equivalent to a mouse (but with pressure), but now you're getting high resolution pen data from the tablet. There is an option to override the behaviour and return to 1.8.3 style input, you can pass the --legacy-wintab command line parameter to the application.
  9. Are you using a pen? Do you have Mouse Mode enabled? Do you have custom mapping regions configured?
  10. Hi, 1.8.4 adds high precision input support, so you should end up with more points, with better positions now. Do you have Mouse Mode enabled? Or do you have a custom mapping area configured?
  11. Thanks everyone. I can reproduce this too (took about 10 Export then Cancel attempts, but now I've lost my mouse cursor and can't get it back...)
  12. Do you have "Mouse Mode" enabled? Any custom regions configured? Windows Ink enabled? You need to create a shortcut to the application, and add --legacy-wintab to the end of the shortcut.
  13. Do you have "Mouse Mode" enabled? Do you have custom regions configured? Do you have Windows Ink enabled?
  14. Questions for those affected: Do you have "Mouse Mode" enabled? Do you have custom mapping regions setup? Do you have Windows Ink enabled?
  15. Yes, normally it's just an uninstall then reinstall of the previous version. What problem are you experiencing? The tablet problem? Have you tried using the --legacy-wintab option?
  16. Ctrl+Z is working fine here. Have you customised your shortcuts in the Preferences?
  17. Ah yes, that'll be in Windows 10 only. This is unrelated to your issue, but Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft, so you should seriously consider updating your OS. Do you have a mapped area setup, or does the tablet input map to the entire screen? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Wacom driver?
  18. 1.8.4 now uses high precision data from the Wacom tablet, in order to do that, we no longer support Mouse Mode (by default). If you want to revert to how 1.8.3 received input you can use the --legacy-wintab command line option.
  19. Which Wacom do you have? Do you have Windows Ink enabled in the Wacom properties?
