    Sometimes when a control accepts text input and has a slider drop down, the slider has a smaller range than the text input accepts.

    Hi, the dialog is just telling you there is a new version available, though I don't know why you're getting an error afterwards. We will investigate and sort out a fix for you. When you click Download, it just takes you to this forum.

    Hi, the Affinity range of software is aimed at a Professional market, whereas the Plus products were aimed at hobbyists and home users, as such we designed the UI and workflow scenarios with this in mind.

    Hi Alfred, the modified state isn't stored as part of the history, as such any change will mark the document as modified, even if you roll back those changes. The same thing happens on the Mac version.

    No decision has been made on future UI design Alfred, but the dark UI will remain throughout versions 1.x.

    Thanks Mark, we've had a couple of reports of the app being slow, and that's far from what we're striving for, so any extra info that can help us track down problems is gratefully received. What are the rest of your PC specs? We will try to create a similar setup here.

    The RAW persona is only in Photo, and this is the Designer beta. Photo will be available in beta by the end of the year.

    You can create your own Assets in Designer which is similar to the gallery in DrawPlus.

    Hi Laurentia, the settings should be stored in the %APPDATA%\Serif\Affinity Designer\1.0 (Beta)\Settings folder. Is this folder empty for you?

    We have a system internally that we report issues into. The developers and QA all read these forums and transfer the issues once they've been verified.

    Ericowens, I just Googled your PC and it seems to indicate that it came with an ATI Radeon HD 5450 graphics card. If this is the case, it fully supports DirectX 11. Can you just confirm what your graphics card is?

    When you disable Aero it uses a different graphics driver, not the normal one from Nvidea or AMD. In internal testing we discovered rendering problems and performance issues. If you choose to ignore the warning, that is fine, the app will still run, but you will get a much poorer experience.

    Hi, I notice from your screenshot that you don't have Aero enabled in Windows. This will cause serious performance problems, and you will probably receive a warning when starting the application.
