  1. Have you tried changing the pressure controller on the context toolbar?
  2. What display profile is your monitor using? And what colour profile is your document set to?
  3. If you press Advanced on the last tab, you'll see the actual profile it's using. I imagine it's just sRGB if you've not changed it.
  4. It's because it does it via percent, so that it can scale at low and high zooms.
  5. Fingers crossed, the Photo beta should be available by the end of the year.
  6. Hold down CTRL when starting the application and it will allow you to reset various options.
  7. Try looking in here: %APPDATA%\Serif\Affinity Designer\1.0 (Beta)\CrashReports Look for the latest file, and attach it here if it is small enough, else upload it to Dropbox or similar.
  8. If it didn't ask you to send the report it might still exist on your disk, can you take a look in: %APPDATA%\Serif\Affinity Designer\1.0 (Beta)\CrashReports and see what the latest report is (if any)?
  9. Ah OK, that helps a lot, thank you! I'll investigate further.
  10. Thanks emmrecs01, what is your screen resolution? If you type into the Windows start menu, Adjust ClearType text, and open that app, is the checkbox currently ticked?
  11. Great thanks, that shows the sliders. What colour format did you create your document in? Do you know what your display colour profile is?
  12. Hi, Separated Mode is a Mac workflow, and not one often used in Windows applications, as such, we haven't implemented it.
  13. Hi, the Windows version should be 100% in parity with the Mac version, with the exception of Text Styles (as they were the last thing added to the Mac version), however Text Styles will be added over the beta. We can't use CTRL + SHIFT + 0, as it is used by the Windows OS (it changes between languages, if you have more than one installed). As such we had to change the shortcut on Windows to be CTRL + ALT + 0. CTRL + click is the Mac equivalent of right click, as they haven't ever had a mouse with two buttons. We'll have to check out that fill edit issue and see what's going on. The same with the Tint slider. I believe that the Mac version now clips grid lines to the page, but I will double check (I think the tutorial is out of date).
  14. Ophie, could we see a screenshot of Designer running on your Windows 10 machine?
  15. Yes, it definitely should be full black. I can't see what the CMYK sliders say in Designer from your screenshot, but there is a problem where the values actually go from 0-255 (rather than 0-100), so it might be that. If that's not the case, and you've put the slider to the maximum value, then it might be a colour profile problem. In which case could I ask that you attach any display profiles that you might be using to this post?
  16. That's unusual, is it like that across all of the UI?
  17. WMF and EMF are supported file types, as Paul says, dragging onto the document (from Explorer) will work. We will get this fixed soon.
  18. Great, thank you Alfred, now I can reproduce this here. Thanks for your help. Looking at the code, the same crash will occur when loading several other file types (i.e. it's not related to being a BMP, though PNG, JPEG, and RAW are immune to this).
