As this is a beta release, it is considered to be not suitable for production use. This means that you should not attempt to use it for commercial purposes or for any other activity that you may be adversely affected by the application failing. In addition it is worth noting that files created in Affinity 1.5 cannot be opened in 1.4, which means files created with the Windows beta cannot be opened in the Mac AppStore version of Designer, instead you will need the latest macOS beta.

Thanks for responding. I am wedded to the background of my desktop, and not inclined to change it in order to use Affinity as a substitute for Adobe Photoshop as I had intended. I will have to think about it.

Enabling DWM (Aero) doesn't impact your use of a desktop background. You can still use a background after choosing Aero.

Hi Lilpri, I tried to watch the video you previously uploaded, but VLC couldn't play the .TVS file you attached. Could you try again, but this time saving it as an MPEG / MP4? Or upload to YouTube / Vimeo etc.

It sounds to me like it's working as expected, as you've told it not to scroll windows that are inactive? The view would have been inactive unless you clicked in it.

Hi, it sounds like your monitor colour profile is wrong. A few other people have experienced the same problem:

The macOS version correctly identifies these types of fonts, so we should be able to as well.

Yes, if it's a symbol font we shouldn't use the font for previewing.
Font names should be localised is its available.

That is what happens in AD on Windows, so if that is correct behaviour then the current behaviour on the Mac is wrong (or vice versa, of course).
No, with things like this, it should follow what the host platform does, so I'm happy for the macOS version to not select, and the Windows version to select.

Right clicking something will select it. Try it in Explorer to see what the default Windows behaviour is.

You probably want Affinity Photo. That has a Batch Job.

Ordinarily in Windows, if you right click an item, it will select it (try it Explorer).

I replace the installer each week. The link remains the same, so if you re-download it will always get the latest.
