You really saved my day - you really have to look at the settings very carefully - in different places. and nowhere is this basic setting pointed out. you really have to check "wet edge" carefully in every brush. my trust in affinity is back a bit. how it works on the ipad i have given up - there the work is really way too complex and not really practical. thanks again

Stamp does not cover in Affinity Photo V2 When stamp applied, 100% coverage is not possible. You have to use the stamp several times on the same spot until it covers 100%. See screenshots. It goes against all logic to use the stamps differently. 100% opacity should be 100% opacity. It doesn't matter which brush. The crazy thing is, in Affinity Photo 1 the same operation works. (By the way: it's the same bug as in Affinity 2 for iPad: the eraser only removes about 70% at opacity 100%. I hope you can get this done soon or I'll leave Affinity. I reported in Forum ! Affinity Photo 2 is useless with iPad) The bugs are numerous.

I use Photo iPad V2 Affinity. When I select the eraser and choose the -> simple round pencilmode, only a part is erased (so about 50%). At the same time I have the eraser at 100% opacity (shpild erase all with one move over). I have to erase over it many times until all is erased. If I choose oil pen mode, then everything is erased with one move/100% opacity. Where is the error: in the software? Or in the logic? I can't work like this if I have to erase several times over the spots, despite 100% opacity. Any idea? Thanx a lot iPad 9 Gen / iOS 16.2

When I select "Save as... / Export / Save...", "New" / "Open" the opening windows to the desktop / folder are hidden by the palettes. So I always have to click away, move or drag the palettes around on the screen first. The "Cancel" button or "Save" button and other communication options are hidden because these windows are not at the very front. Here would be potential to improve this. - - - Apologies if this has been posted before.

Hi everyone after decades I will leave Adobes Illustrator&Co. I bought all Affinity apps, also for PC. I have to learn new handlings, that is ok.There is a nice feature in Illustrator or Indesign I miss: I can activate the pointer just for the time, when I press the cmd key. So I can write a Text, press the command key and the pointer is shown. After leaving, the typo tool is backn. Or I use the square tool, draw the square, press the cmd key, move the square and after leaving the cmd key, the square tool is back. In Affinity, I have to switch the tools with short cuts (v), an if text ist activated, it is not possible... I know, this is a personal wish. But it seems, that pressing cmd key (alt key on PC) is still free....so why not integrate that feauture? or do I overlook sth?
