Upgrade to Windows 20H2 was successful. I was able to enable OpenCL and export is now working.

Your Windows version is from September 2019 and therefore no longer current enough to use OpenCL.
To Update go to: MediaCreation Tool
I tried updating Windows and the updater fails. Attempts to repair were unsuccessful. I'm now attempting to update to 20H2.
I installed on another PC which has 2004 installed and this works with no problem and OpenCL is enabled with an on board GPU Intel HD Graphics 530.
This apparently is the result of a broken Windows update. The Windows troubleshooter made me think it fixed the update problem when in fact it didn't.
I'll tell you a secret. I'm a Linux user and expert but Windows neophyte. I use Windows only for gaming, photography and, video only because that's where the good tools (like Affinity) are available. I shy away from Windows largely because updates have often broken for me resulting in a huge loss of time -- like now. A Windows PC for me is fine for about a year and then often starts failing updates and gradually loses performance because of cruft. A fresh install of Windows doesn't cut it for me because of the having to re-install all the apps. Any chance at all there will be an Affinity for Linux?

HI,
I have an NVidia 1660 Super and the drivers were recently updated. OpenCL was disabled. When I try to enable I get a complaint (ability to cut and paste a dialog box would be helpful):
Hardware Acceleration requires Windows 10.0.19042 (May 2020) or newer and a modern GPU.
Your current operating system is Microsoft Windows 10 (version 10.0.18362).I could swear I've been keeping up with all the updates but with 6 computers and only me it's hard to keep up. My days can be spent updating rather than getting anything done (end of rant).

Thank you for the reply.
Here's a crash report.
I have at least a dozen all around the same time.

I didn't try a blank document but did try with a .png instead of an .aphoto. with the same results.

This is new.
Windows 10
Version 1.9.1.979
Select File->Export
Press TGA
Crash is immediate.
Same occurs with TIFF. WMF and, EXR
This occurs with when attempting to export a .aphoto or even a .png.

Still works with OpenCL disabled. Yes, updating Windows to 20H2 seems to have corrected whatever the underlying problem was. I assume that the offending files were replaced by the update.
It is possible that .NET was the problem. It was also updated. I suspect this because of the immediate crash when clicking the TGA tab. I'm thinking that there was something about a widget used for the popup which should have been displayed.
btw: I'm very impressed by the responsiveness of your team. You are all fantastic. In my mind Serif and Affinity wins!
