  1. Thanks @NotMyFault but that's not the outcome I'm looking for. A proper Equirectangular panorama of that chrome ball would have a 2:1 aspect ratio and look like this: Just like the one that Affinity Photo itself supports for the Layer Equirectangular Projection feature. Other software have filters for performing this kind of transformation. Some of the names are mirror ball to LatLong or Equirectangular.
  2. I'm looking for an easy way to transform a mirror ball (Panosphere) HDR to an equirectangular projection. Is there an easy way to do this in Affinity Photo? The Filters > Distort > Polar to Rectangular is not the correct transform. This can be done in other software but I'm hoping to find a way to do it in Affinity Photo to streamline the workflow of creating an HDR from multiple bracketed photos of a chrome ball, and transforming it to an equirectangular HDR image. 3. I'm also seeing OpenEXR export slowness on a new MacBook Pro M1 Max with 32GB or RAM. Dimensions are around 24000x12000. @cgiout, just curious, what do you use to stitch your HDRIs in the first place? I've been waiting for Affinity Photo to support a good 360 degree, equirectangular stitch workflow for years.
  4. I know this thread is a couple of years old. Are there any plans to add 360 panorama creation to Affinity Photo? Anything on the roadmap that can be shared at this point?
