Hi NotMyFault, I'm on pc. I only have "Mask", "Empty Mask" and "Compound mask" + Luminocity, Hue and Band pass range. But no black or invert mask...

In V1 when pressing ALT and selecting the mask icon under the layer stack, I created a black mask. This doesn't work in V2. I have to select the mask icon and then invert it... I'm not used to use the shortkey Ctrl+alt+shift+e Any ideas? Thx!

Thank you for the information. Do you have any idea for a workaround? Another question, after masking out, it's hard to mask in again. ( white and black brush)... Thx again for you response.

Similar experiance as OP. Not usable. Nvidia 2070super... Every time I use merge visible, I get square artifacts. When exporting as jpg as well. Previous 1.9 versions were ok. On the other hand speed is up 50%
