hey using a external mouse worked thanks so can I do anything to make my mouse pad on my laptop work

I'm using a laptop with a flat mouse I'm not sure why my units are blank tried clicking on them but didn't do anything. thanks

thank you for your help. the writer says to "click with your mouse someplace outside and above the image [creating a two-arrowed cursor] then. click and drag to rotate the photo. I have tried everything I have completely shut the app down and restarted it. tried different photos but still can't rotate the photo. in the affinity photo manual. in lesson three on how to crop images where it says to use the two arrowed cursor to rotate the photo the photo wouldn't rotate so I contacted Kuhlman publishing through email and he tried to help me but it still will not move is there anything I can do to fix It 8B787CDE-9929-4759-B592-98A9AA88C2C6.mov
