Old Bruce did offer that solution and you told me about the autocorrect section, which is helpful as well. This is all so new to me. I read the manual, but as I'm finding out, the problem isn't always where I think it might be. I'm grateful that you took your time to help me, Alfred.

Oh Sorry...under Topography, the superscript icon was on. Didn't realize that option was in 2 locations. Now just trying to figure out how to keep text within the left and right boundaries of a text frame. I've looked at the text frame panel, but that doesn't look like it is the problem. I'm not sure where to look. Any thoughts?

Would you be able to tell me how to keep the text I'm typing with the the text frame from left to right? I know there may be too much for the space, but I thought the overflow was at the bottom. I can't figure out why the text exceeds the left and right margins of the text frame. Thank you! PS - LOVE Scotland! My son and I visited for a month in 2000. Absolutely fabulous!

I have doubled checked that None is selected and not superscript, but when I type a number, it presents as superscript. Is there another place I need to change? Most frustrating. Thank you for your help!

Creating a text frame and keeping the text within that frame is basic, yet when I type within a text frame, the text continues outside the right side of the box. I understand text may exceed the size of the frame at the bottom, but what do I need to do to keep the text within the width of the frame? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My apologies. I did a screen save and just saved it in Word. I don't know how to insert an image view directly. I certainly wasn't trying to restrict anyone. This is my first day using forum. What could be causing Publisher 1.9.1.9.79 to not respond on, what I would consider at basic function, such as deleting a page? Is my set-up not right? Greetings All, A real rookie here and frustrated at the results I'm getting and can't figure out why. I wanted to add a master page to the beginning of the document. I selected to add 1 master page BEFORE page 1 of the master page named GENERATIONS. A page is added at the END of the document. I've attached photos. Does anyone see the error of my ways?
