Hi Guys
Found a bug in AP Beta V2.0.3.316
In the batch Processing persona the available Macros shows only the macro directories and not the actual macros. Unlike in the Version 2 release it doesn't show the list below when you select specific directory.
First image below is V2 release and second image is V2 Beta

Hi Garret
This is same with me. I am running AFPhoto Beta 2 on MacPro running Monterey 12.6.3 and have the same problem. Batch Processing persona displays only Macro Library catalogues and Not actual Macros. I even created a macro to the develop steps (which didn't work) and it did not show in the available Macros window for selection.
See first image showing only the macro directory my macros and no actual macros to select. After selecting the pull down tab to the right I get a list of all my macro directories but still no Macros.
I believe this to be a MAC bug.

Hi Walt
Yes files are saved in correct category. Even tried saving it in Default library folder.
When in Batch persona Available Macros window Only shows Library categories not actual Macros as per previous image I sent. Can't select the contents of the shown category. Obviously a bug in MAC
I will report it but a fix will have to wait til new year I guess.

I agree
I van generate the macro but now in Batch persona I can't select macros because they are in a category and the system doesn't allow for access to macros within each category. Thanks for the reply as at least I now have a develop macro.

Me Again
It appears that on MAC I need another selection option to select the macros within a category?

Hi Again
You're Right it doesn't work as described above. I create the macro as I have described perviously but when I ope Batch processing window the the avaialble Macros box only shows the categories not the actual macros, So I can't apply the newly created Develop macro.
Any suggestions how I can show the macros and not the categories?
Thanks,

Hi Walt
I just tried the procedure and I must be doing something wrong
When I double click the developed embedded layer after starting the macro recording I get the attached window. By selecting the develop persona button at the top of the window the develop module activates. Once it is open and the macro is running I select the basic, lens and details presets and then press develop. Once in the photo window I stop the macro and save it in Library.
The next issue I have yet to solve is to get the develop macro to show in the available macros window of the Batch Processing panel. It is currently showing the macro categories I have and not the actual macros in the library. Do you know how to see the just the applicable macros to select from?

Hi Guys
I just watch a video by James Ritson about Batch processing demonstrating the application of macros to Multiple images.
It would be great if in the Develop module of AP2, we could create a macro of the application of Basic, Lens, Detail, Overlays and Toning presets created by the user. This macro could then be added to the list of macros available for selection in the batching process. By doing so we could then created multiple developed tiff or AP files for saving, thereby improving processing workflows for creating HDR or Pano images. Currently this can not be done so adjustments like chromatic aberrations and fringing, sometimes get burned into the HDR image and pano processed images, making the correction range limited leaving these problems visible in the resulting image.
If this was possible users to apply the presets macro to multiple images in the batch process resulting in an image syncing batch process, comparable to the sync function found in competitive image editing applications such as PS, LT Room, Capture one, etc.
Any chance this might be possible in a version update or Beta. I would love to try it out if the devs could attempt it.
Thanks,

Hi Stokerg
Thanks for the update. I hope it won't take too long
Thanks Again

Hi Twolane
I us a mac machine so these instructions are for that platform
You have to select the Luminosity mask, from the new Live layer Mask in the layer menu pull down menu.
Once this is open you go to the pull don menu (upper left corner of the live luminosity range mask, where you will find all of the preset luminosity curves. Just select one and you're off.
Hope this helps

Hi Mike
These are great.

Hi there
I right click select edit macro and then single click the arrow and the macro runs. It would be nice if the Wacom pen would work with a single click as it would save me three steps, speeding up the workflow.
