  1. Hello, there. I have a few question about History panel. These questions are meant to inform me whether this History feature can help me make a time-lapse video of me drawing or not: Does enabling "Save History with document" feature in File menu cause the app to save all history from the moment it's enabled up to the latest editing? Or does it gradually forgets the earliest edit if it reaches a certain threshold? Does enabling "Save History with document" cause the file size to get bigger as I continue editing? Is the History data often as small as 5MB, or does it get as heavy as 100MB after a couple of hours of editing? Is using History panel for time-lapse video a good idea? Or do you have another way to make time-lapse video in Affinity software? Thank you! 😀
  2. Thank you for the replies, friends! Exporting the file in a different format really helps to identify the font. I hope the developers will add a feature to tackle this issue, but for now, the solutions above will suffice. THANKS 💓
  3. Thank you for pointing this feature out, but sadly this is not what I'm looking for. As you can see in the picture, I chose Snap ITC font for my Japanese text, and Designer somehow manages to display the Japanese characters correctly even though Snap ITC doesn't support Japanese characters. Designer automatically chooses another font that supports Japanese characters in the place of Snap ITC, and I would like to know what font that is. Thank you for replying! If you happen to learn something new about this topic, please reply here again!
  4. Thanks for replying. I'm sorry I forgot to mention that I'm using Affinity Designer v2. Do you know how to do this in Designer?
  5. I sometimes write in multiple languages, and when I use a font that doesn't support the language, Designer automatically chooses a similar font that supports the language I'm writing in. Is there a way to know what font Designer has chosen for me?
  6. Here you go. I attached the file down below. Wow dude! It works! I didn't know just by grouping them before rasterizing you can remove the blur. Thanks!! Bug_Rasterizing_aliased_vector_causes_blur.afdesign
  7. This vector layer has been forced to turn off Anti-Aliasing. One of its curve layer has been rotated, before being rasterized. The rasterized layer doesn't retain its former shapes in pixel accuracy (or its shape displayed in Pixel view mode). *Edit: even without rotating the object, vector layers cannot keep its pixel-perfect shape after being resterized
  8. Thank you for your warm welcome! Well, I hope I don't misunderstand you here, but more or less this is what I'm thinking: (see the GIF below) So the idea is, select the objects you want to reselect later. Then, change their names or their tag colors. By doing so you can reselect them by [Select Same - Name] or [Select Same - Tag Color] You have to do the selection manually at first, but after that, you don't have to do it again.
  9. There's a workaround to solve this "limited range" of Select Same, that is by changing the color tag or the name of the layers you want to select. It's still not efficient, but it works. At the very least, once you have changed the colors or names of those layers, you don't have to do it again manually.
