Hi, I use Photo Mechanic 6 to ingest, select and rate (star and colour) plus crop my sports photos before sending to Lightroom 5 for post processing. LR5 recognises the star, colour and crop (this is a "soft" crop by PM6, so that you finalise it when you export from LR5). I am on a 2018 Mac mini with Catalina and should be upgrading to Monterey but concerned that LR5 may not work once OS is updated. I am therefore looking at other programmes to take over from LR5. The only programme that recognises the star and colour but not the crop is On1 2021 but I won't use as it is extremely resource intensive. I like AP and looking to see if it could a contender to replace LR5.
AP recognises the metadata but not the star, colour or crop from the transferred images.
Is there someway to fix this?
