Thanks for the response--trying to feel out the software finishing a project. Yeh, I was using the one in Layers and figured there HAD to be another one that wasn't buried somewhere. Version 1 one could be drawing with Apple Pen and using that to select and one's other hand to tap the Delete in lower left. I'm usually using Solid Works 2022. Would be amazing if Affinity made the tools bars/buttons customizable like CAD programs. Ah, nevertheless! Thanks again.

Feeling my way thru V2 on ipad. V1, in bottom left, had a deselect (an X), then a magnet (snaps) and then a trash can (delete). V2, in bottom left, has the circle (toggle modifiers) and the deselect (an X). I know this question is very simple-minded and the answer probably very obvious--but where in the world is the garbage can to delete something? I drew a few lines and can't figure out how to delete anything. Darn it. Thanks for help, Ter
