Something in it causes the Xcode to read the SVG in a wrong way. Is there any way to export it correctly?

Arrows following shapes
tomn replied to tomn's topic in Feedback for Affinity Designer V1 on Desktop
It would be great to get a response from Affinity Team on this. It would a great feature to add for me and for others as I see! -
Network graphing tools please!
tomn replied to Randall Lee Reetz's topic in Feedback for Affinity Designer V1 on Desktop
Affinity Team will you add the option to draw arrows between shapes, and the endings of those arrows would stick to the shapes when user moves either the shapes or arrow lines? (See https://www.draw.io for inspiration) That would be very useful for any use case when I have to draw arrows between screens or artboards, or have to design a diagram. It would add a whole new value for me to Affinity Designer. Everything is already in place, though I don't see the option to add such arrows. Draw.io has a big disadvantage that it is clunky with handling symbols. -

Create a new device iPhone XS artboard. Insert png file. In the transform pane activate the option to keep (change) the width and height together. Select the move tool. Resize by dragging the corners. - works OK, the ratio is kept. Resize by dragging the sides - does not keep the aspect ratio. In the status bar the hint says "Hold shift to ignore aspect ratio". When you hold shift it actually does the opposite — it then keeps the aspect ratio.

Affinity Designer Customer Beta (1.6 - RC1)
tomn replied to MattP's topic in [ARCHIVE] Designer beta on macOS threads
Cool When the 1.6.1 is going to be released? -
vector command depends on the chosen “DPI”
tomn replied to Oval's topic in [ARCHIVE] Designer beta on macOS threads
Oval's remarks are valuable. He points out bugs in Affinity Designer and is very detailed about them. Imagine those bugs to be fixed by the Affinity developers and how polished the software would then be. No more need to be cursing at a screen, or use another software. Why I would have to buy Sketch to make the designs if it is enough to buy Affinity Designer and stick with it? Currently the Designer has some UI design features but they are buggy, outdated and the experience of using it is average. Why not to improve on what already exists and conquer the professional customers hearts? Maybe some kind of an issue tracker would be great to have to look at.- 31 replies

Affinity Designer Customer Beta (1.6 - RC1)

Will you be able to pull it off too in 1.6? -
@Bri-Toon sure, no problem.

Can you back this claim up with some research data? Do for example even 1/3 of the world professionals do UI design or work on vector graphics on an iPad? From my point of view the Serif went for the money in the mobile market simply because it was there, it was justified by marketing and sales. Somehow they neglected the Designer on the Mac. And you can't do many things at once unless you are Adobe. Compare it with the progress of Sketch or Invision, and take a look how they tend their software. They are very focused mainly on personal computers platform. They progress fast, and they fix the bugs fast too. Adobe officially released Experience Designer, but they are big, fat corporation with lots of resources, so it would be unjustified to make any comparison to them.

This bug is still there. -
+1 I experience the same problems in 1.5.5. I had to reset the studio from time to time so the pesky panels appear again, and then I have to rearrange them again In my case some of the panels don't want to show up again

I'd add to that, keep the app responsive and polished, with as few bugs as possible.

+1 for that. Please AD team finish off and update the assets if possible.
