  1. thank You Mike for the clarification. I guessed that it is not Serif‘s problem, since there is the non subfolders dialog with other apps I tried yesterday. As even Apple‘s own apps like pages don‘t display the correct dialog at times, it seems to be a bug in OSX Ventura. Juergen
  2. i have access to Photos, can open/place them. But, under Ventura there are no subfolders/albums/favorites visible, also the files are missing display of file name (see screenshots).
  3. full access to folders/HD does not change anything
  4. in Mac OS X 13.1 Ventura none of the affinity apps (V1 and V2) show the subfolders of Media/Photos library when using the place dialog
  5. Now after several more tries, and force-quitting appstoreagent while running AppStore, Affinity Photo 1.9.1 downloaded successfully.
  6. Same problem here with Mojave. Force quitting appstoreagent didn't work for me since now (several attempts).
  7. I had the same AppStore problems with an iMac running El Capitan (other computers with High Sierra and Mojave worked fine in downloading the app). So I tried trashing AffinityPhoto (didn't need to empty trash), then went to AppStore, located "purchases" and could download Photo 1.9 Everything fine now. Thanks for the approach.
  8. Support for afphoto files in Capture One would indeed be very helpful, making possible a perfect roundtrip between the apps.
  9. in Affinity Photo it seems that after closing a curve with the pen tool there is added a new curves layer when continuing drawing curves. In Publisher Beta there is the mode "Add to Curves" available, that enables several closed curves on one layer. Is it planned to implement this very handy feature in Affinity Photo?
  10. Is it possible to control the amount of opacity with a Wacom pen? In the advanced brush settings I only found controls for brush size, flow, etc. Is the "flow" setting comparable to opacity?
