  1. where can I find the properties of each project in AD ipad at a glance? like size, colour space, name etc, txs
  2. hello, I have troubles changing the space in the standard grid....the distance always stays the same whatever I try to do, whatever number in centimeters I enter nothing changes....how would I do that...I urgently need a square grid with nine square compartments...txs
  3. @Sean P its now more than a year later...is there any news? txs
  4. AD ipad needs more genuine vector brushes...we all know there are only a few (to my knowledge and by info of Affinity support two) of the so called vector brushes indeed vectors...
  5. I need to push this request and want to include a request for a general better colour palettes management in AD ipad....including better pasting of colour codes, deleting Pantone Palettes and a search function e.g. I do all my artwork in AD ipad and in more than two years of doing that I have amounts of colour palettes with no possibilty to sort them, importing/exporting palettes and so on... I own AD desktop as well (and AP ipad) but dont want to make strange workarounds as I only use the ipad version...
  6. ah ok, thanks...I've overseen that AP was the topic of the threadauthor...but good to know anyway as I also have AP...
  7. could you pls post a screenshot? I use AD ipad in another language and cant find this function...txs!
  8. ok, I see....Im not completely sure if I understand "active" but in the end the colour I saved to my palette will be the colour in my vector drawing in cmyk, yes?
  9. txs! but why does it differ from the colour which I save after colourpicking? thats what I did: step one: colourpicking, step 2: saving this colour to my colour palette, step 3: colour looks different altough it is the colour from colourpicking...see shot...
  10. what is the meaning of the color circle on the right? i am working with a cmyk document in AD ipad...does this circle show me how the selected color (left circle) will look in cmyk? txs in advance
  11. welches Programm? Wenn es sich auf Publisher bezieht, vielleicht am besten im Desktop-Unterforum fragen...
  12. is there an update about this? scrolling through these palettes to get my own takes up much time...
  13. there is a workaround which I use (see nahmyq's post) - although I think this workaround will have to be forever as there is no development in this matter of the horrible spell check
  14. thanks to all for joining this thread...in case I learn that those 12 are true vectors (which I also doubt and Walt's quick test probably showed) I will post it here!
  15. Yes I know that only two brushes are true vector brushes, that's why I ask before buying:-) And because I would buy from Affinity, I also ask Affinity, as a customer I don't want to have to do the task of asking the manufacturer myself. I just now saw that I posted in the wrong subforum...sorry! I can't move my posting myself, please to mods to do so.
  16. I dont do any raster work but as there are also 12 vector strokes announced in the DAUB Caligo package I'm thinking of purchasing it - are those 12 genuine vector brushes? txs
  17. Oh thank you, right on my first quick visit to the websites I saw beautiful fonts!
  18. thank you for answering so quickly 🙂 I already bought fonts elsewhere (and I also use free fonts...) but the fonts on offer on myfonts etc. are overwhelming and you spend hours looking for nice and cheap fonts....that's why I thought it was great that Affinity offered great fonts like with the Vintage Bundle, where I don't have to worry about anything anymore but spend my time designing and illustrating.
  19. Now I wanted to use Black Friday to buy fonts in the Affinity Store and saw that there are even less now...that is really a pity
  20. I guess it is the same with the Workbook for Designer? I do own the desktop version, too but I do almost everything on my ipad....and I was hoping that like in other reference books there would at least be a section that covers the Ipad version 🙂 PS: And I have worked through almost every Affinity tutorial online (also many YT videos) - otherwise I wouldn't have been able to learn it from the scratch
  21. this is a bit off topic, but as I recently followed a few threads of @Josie: @walt.farell and @Alfred: your patience and willingness to share knowledge is outstanding...thank you for that!
