carl123, Yes, that's exactly what I want to do. I did figure out that using the bitmap option will let me tile the image, however, I'm having a real hard time with the handles, which allow you to drag horizontally and vertically. I would really like to have a studio panel where I can simply choose to tile it at XX% instead of having to eye it.. Does anyone know if there is a control for this? To be able to specify the size of the tile, OR to lock the perspective height and width while dragging one of the handles?

I have a layer filled with an image that repeats. It's basically a rectangle. I would like to be able to fade the edge of the rectangle to white. My printer doesn't support borderless printing. I can't bevel the design because it's a lot of lines and empty space. Can someone recommend how to add a layer or effect that will allow me to fade the edges? M

I have a lot of small repeatable tile images. I have added a large photo frame to a publisher page and I cannot find a way to tile the image in the fill of the image frame. There are a couple of fitment options, fit to min, max or stretch, but no Tiling option that I can find. Am I missing something?

I have opened a psd file business card template and opened and saved it as an Affinity file type. Then I've opened my logo in another tab.. I was hoping to drag my layers of the logo out of the layers palette and onto the tab of the template file.. This doesn't work.. Then I found this forum and copied and pasted my two layers into the new document.. They appear to be locked to the back ground, even though they are on layer 2 and 3.. I cannot drag my logo around, nor can I select it to resize it.. What's up? Any ideas? DUH.. NEVERMIND Noobie error.. I had the hand tool selected..

The title says 1.3.5.18 but the download gives me 1.3.5.12. I received an email saying 1.4 was out.. How do we download the latest version? I clicked the link that is 'pinned' at the top of the page. Never mind..I got the .18 version.. but the email did say 1.4.

I'm getting the same issue. I have a 4.3 MB file that is 8300 x 2300 panorama.. When I dragged the icon of the image to the Affinity icon in the dock, Affinity Photo opened, but the image opened in Preview.. Then I tried doing File Open and the program froze.. The size of the photo shows at the top, under the personas buttons, but the image never appears. If I go to the Window menu, the name of the image is shown as an open document. A dialog box will then appear, except that it's all while or all black. I do not see what it says. I click around on the blank dialog box and finally it will go away and then Affinity will crash. I can't figure out how to upload an image here.

Can I copy a layer style from one layer to another? I use layer styles a LOT and it's a pain to have to recreate them if used several times on multiple layers.
