This fixes the selection tool bug and also I can now zoom in/out flawlessly without any stutter or waiting for things to load.

Happens on every file. I have posted the file in this comment however I deselected everything. Cutout_3.afphoto

I started experiencing these weird selection bug two days ago. I would start selecting something and it will show up, for it to return to normal I'll have to continue selecting and it will return to normal, but it keeps happening every time I make a selection. Here's a video of it hope it doesn't get removed:
