1. Nimm deine erste Auswahl (die Auswahl des blauen Rumpfes) und mach ein copy/paste davon, daraufhin sollte Deine blaue Auswahl nun in einer eigenen oberen Ebene im Ebenen-Panel liegen.
2. Füge das Füllbild (muster.jpg) aus der Zwischenablage (via paste) in das aktuelle Dokument als eine weitere Ebene ein.
3. Nun ziehe die Ebene mit dem Füllbild (muster) und clippe diese unter die blaue Rumpfebene (blauer Rumpf), so das der blaue Rumpf mit dem Muster gefüllt wird. Verschiebe und skaliere das Muster so wie Du es im ge-clippten Zustand haben willst.

I start Affinity Photo with a shortcut (Keyboard Maestro). I forgot to mention that I am using an iMac with OSX Catalina. I noticed that the message box only appears when I launch Affinity Photo with the shortcut. It works fine without it. Thanks for pointing this out. Everything is fine now.

How are you starting the app? That dialog should only be displayed if you hold down the Ctrl/Strg key as you launch it.
