Add node not working
in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

Hello,
I have the same problem in Affinity Designer - "add node" function does not work for some lines.
I made a simple grid by drawing the initial few lines and then duplicating them (copy-paste), turned 90 degrees and crossed.
Then I started to cut out the portions of the lines. Some lines allow "add node", but some - do not. I can not understand where is the problem.
Searching online led me to this forum thread. I checked for Windows Ink in my Affinity (in Preferences --> Tools), but they are absent.
How can I fix this annoying issue?
