Thanks, Walt. I did double check from the preferences within the application and confirmed the setting was off. I will check for the crash reports and post it here if one exists.

This version still crashes for me right after trying to create a new file from preset sizes (architectural, 12x8, landscape).

Hi I was running the trial version of Designer on my laptop for some time but gave up on it after it kept crashing. I posted in the forums here and got a few different idea to try out. Unfortunately, the 'fixes' only worked for a few days and designer still kept crashing. So I kinda forgot about it until today and realized my trial had expired. So I logged back on today and actually purchased a license for both Photo and Designer. I downloaded v1.9.2 and registered it right away. Unfortunately, when I launch it, it gets past the splash screen and I am able to see the screen to open/create from template etc. However, once I select a template or size, it crashes. Previously, I uninstalled and re-installed video drivers. That helped for a bit, but Designer was still unstable and randomly crashed. I also checked the XML to make sure hardware acceleration is disabled. Any support will be greatly appreciated since I kind of need to use this application but am not able to. Thanks

Hello I had to reinstall windows due to an HD upgrade and after doing that I re-installed the display drivers. Seems to be working well now. Thanks!

Strange. Everything else seems to be working fine, except for this app. Is there a log file or something I can check before I do the driver change?

Hi there I just downloaded the trial and it keeps crashing on my laptop when I try to create a new file. So I checked the support forums and downloaded the Beta. However, my 90 day trial key does not work on it :( Can you direct me to a where I can download a patch to fix the crashing - it is unusable presently. Also, is there a way to use the trial key with the beta? Thanks
