  1. Perhaps I forgot the monitor is an EIZO 10 bit Coloredge CG319X 4K2K. Resolution prob? Johann
  2. Hi Pauls, thank you for your response. I found 125 Hz frequency but also give you the type: Logitech MX anywhere 2S. The connection can be chosen: USB or wireless or blutooth. Either way I connect results in the same stuttering. When I use instead the normal erase it is so smooth and rapid as can be without residuals. I think I expect too much from this special eraser because there is some logic (code) implemented. It seems to take time for this eraser specialist to see what should be erased and what should stay. And the way it decides results in: see my upload, the tiny patches resist even a further more try to erase them, despite I´m positioning the circle full on them and click and click and, and they stay and stay and... . kind regards and stay healthy. Johann
  3. Hi Gnobelix, thanks for your quick response. I will try to solve the prob with your advice. What I found is that the normal eraser after masking serves much better and is way quicker and as exact. So I dont know the special use/meaning of the background eraser when the normal eraser does the same. (beginner probs?). I know: don´t use the destructive tool eraser use masks but for a first shot..... The background eraser is so slow compared with the normal. When I go to gimp I don´t see the same speed difference. The 3060 has so much RAM when I do that with Resolve in 2D .... seconds, and the removal is always complete whenever not of better quality at the mask boundaries. Thank you so much for responding wishing you a good christmas time and stay healthy cheers Johann
  4. I have the problem that after masking and then background erasing interstitious pixel remain and show some resistance to a second attempt to remove them. Also I can´t draw quickly with the eraser becaus it refuses to follow with the erase circle in the same speed. This is happens independently for the stable and the beta. For both the lastest versions and the two ones before. I add a picture with the result of my trials. The picture is a mandelbulb calculation originally in png Format, but also photos in jpg show this unfavoured behaviour. My Machine: Win 10 pro x64 full updated, latest drivers for ASUS Croshair VIII Hero Wifi, 32 meg RAM, Nvidia 3060 12 GB, 3950 X AMD Processor, NVME Force MP 600, SSD 860 QVO 1 TB, Nothing overclocked cinebench 9500 points. Processor and graphiccard share Ram is set in BIOS latest version from AMD. If you need more info on OS or hardware let me know. Hope this is not an item already solved I didn´t completely search for the prob in the forum space. Kind regards and waiting for your help. 5. Hi, I´m user of Affinity Photo. Normally when I start the beta version and a popup informs me that a new version is available I click on the download button. I will then be transferred to the download page where I click on the download button and the download starts then ..... normally. This time the screen flickers shortly and then nothing happens. Appreciating your help with the problem Johann Dietz
