"an RGB32 image would have a much wider gamut than can be replicated on a printer" Yes true 🙂 but the print is a long way out when compared with the RGB16 image print. The Document profile is Adobe RGB (1998) and I am using custom ICC profile supplied by Marrutt. However to eliminate that is could be the custom profile causing the issue I just now have experimented by switching to the EPSON XP-15000 Premium Glossy profile. No difference 🙁. The Epson Driver allows for a Print Preview and the issue is displayed on that.

No feedback! so is it just me experiencing this issue with strange colour output? I have done some experimentation. Different images, merging layers etc., these don't solve the issue. Help? Meanwhile these are my 32bit printing output issue workarounds: 1. Convert Format /ICC Profile > select format RGB/16. Better, but still a slight colour shift. 2. Export as a TIFF file using TIFF RGB 16-bit Best, no colour shift as far as I can tell. I shall be using this workaround until the issue is solved? When printing the output is washed out. I am printing to an Epson XP-15000. This appears to be a V2 issue. I have tested printing the same file using Affinity Photo V1 and the output isfine. I have tried printing with the Hardware Acceleration switched on and off with no imrovement. I am thinking that this might be an issue with the file being a RGBA 32 bit image as I have printed a RGBA 8 bit image with no problems. Attached are screenshots of the image output shown in the Epson print preview application. Same here. Focus Merge seems to run as normal through the Align Merge Sources process. Focus Merge starts building the image up OK until two thirds down the frame. At that point there is a sort of "melting" effect. (see screenshot) I have tried using JPG and Raw files. Also with the same batch of files used to create a focus merge using Photo 1.8.
