  1. Hi Walt, Many thanks for the clue as to the cause of my problem, Nahimic service was indeed installed on my PC and "Stopping" and "Blocking" this service has corrected both the corruption of the menu text and tool graphics. Will have to monitor that it does not get re-applied by any future updates. Best Regards Geoff
  2. I have just installed Windows 11 and have found that when using Affinity Photo the menu text behaves in a strange manner, after loading an image some of the menu items disappear and it is necessary to hover the mouse curser over them to make them reappear. Also some of the tools graphics become corrupted when changing values. No other programs or software which is installed on my PC behaves in this way. See attached photo
  3. Sorry to hear you have the same problem, I think its being investigated. I have stopped trying to add *.cube files, use individual ones from an external directory for the time being. Did manage to install eight Fuji Film LUT's but this was using first the "Infer" option (with *.png files) and them saving that as a new preset. Geoff
  4. If you create a new Presert (LUT's) from an external *.cube file the next time you start Photo and select LUT from the Adjustment menu the program is very slow to load the new LUT. At times it can also result in the program failing and requiring a reboot. This slow reaction is worse the more new Presets (LUT's) you create. If you create the new Preset (LUT) using the "Infer LUT" option, and using a reference and sample *.png files the problem does not seem to occur.
  5. HI, 1. Go to the Affinity Photo shortcut on your Desktop and Right click on it. 2. Select the menu option of Properties 3. Next select menu option of Shortcut 4 Select option of Advanced, and then tick in box of Run as Administrator 5 Click Apply Go back to Desktop and start Program, it will ask you if you want to accept this mode, say yes and that's it Once you have downloaded the free additions you can go back and cancel the Run as Administrator Hope that helps Geoff
  6. Got program sorted by running Affinity Photo in Windows "Administrator Mode". Geoff
  7. Updated to latest Ver 1.9 without problem and program works correctly, however when trying to download free Assets Packs program crashes. I go to my account from within Photo and I get the "Splash" screen asking Register or Login, if I select Login the program crashes. Any help would be appreciated. Geoff
