Installing 1.9.0 problems (split)
in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I also am having a problem with installation of v1.9. It downloaded O.K. I started RUN and it barfed back an error message saying it didn't have enough permissions in my limited log on. SO, I went to my ADMIN ACCT and did RUN again. Still got the same message.
I tried opening the Folder to see if I could run the .exe file located there and could not OPEN the folder for Affinity Designer. It looked like a "Read Only" situation so I changed that. Still nothing happening for installation.
HELP!!! Does anyone else have the problem? OR, has this problem been solved by anyone?
