  1. Hey guys, I'm trying to design with 4 canvases next to each other to form a 2 x 2 grid (I'm designing for grid of TV Screens!), but the artboard names bleed over, as shown in the attachment. Could this be dropped into the application as a feature? It's a small thing, but would really help at times. Thanks
  2. Hey guys, Sorry to spam your inbox today, but this is causing me to pull my hair out and I can't find a solution. So, if you look at the attachment, what I'm trying to do is combine the three diamond shapes on the left into one layer, then use the ellipse on the right to cut an ellipse shape out of the combined asset on the left. How can I do this? Thanks
  3. Hey guys.. In Illustrator, when I drag assets outside of the canvas (into the grey area), I can see the assets still. I use this as a sort of reservoir of assets that I can copy from etc when I'm working on a design. However, when I try and drag assets from the canvas (white are) to outside of the canvas (grey area), the assets seem to be masked out of sight. Is there any way to reveal the assets not sitting inside of the canvas? Thanks
  4. Hey MEB, Thanks for the response. So, does that mean I can't simply copy and paste into Photoshop as an editable shape layer or smart object, in the same way I can from Illustrator to Photoshop? I completely understand that Adobe will have resolved a workflow between its own products..I'm just trying to figure out what I need to change in terms of my process.
  5. Yeah...I opened up the file in Affinity Designer, selected the logo, entered export persona, opted for tiff then exported. This is even worse as the export adds a black background to the logo. The logo is white and includes semi-transparent elements. I can achieve what I want by expoting as a png file. I don't want a raster file though, I'd kinda like a vector, so that I can resize either way without loss of quality.
  6. Hi guys...I'm new to Affinity, so please bear with me if this is a question that's been asked time and again (although i couldn't find anything in a forum search!). I have a logo which contains SOME elements at 60% opacity, the rest at 100%. When I copy the entire logo into Photoshop, ALL elements copy over at 100% opacity, not the mixture as I would expect. In order to copy over to Photoshop, I simply selected the entire logo, copied it, then pasted it into Photoshop. (cmd+c / cmd+v) Is this a correct workflow? If so, what am I doing wrong to not have the logo contain the elements at 60% when copied across? Thanks in advance.
