Has anyone else noticed that the lens profile for a Nikon 300mm f4 Af Ed is way out and is better without using it?

Since my upgrade to 1.9 my in painting brush doesnt work at all. It used to paint the dust spot or whatever red and then erase it. Now, the brush stroke is a very pale almost invisible reddish tint but has no effect on the blemish.

Having downloaded A P 1.9 I can no longer make adjusments properly. For example, if I click on Levels, just the presets show and not the usual adjustment tab. Is it me or has anyone else found this.
