  1. I still keep looking fro answers - and a faster computer is not it. Regarding that video you posted I have the same issue.
  2. Not that this helps but I've got the same problem - doesn't look like it's been addressed.
  3. Thanks for the additional info - I guess it's something that will need to be sorted. I'll keep an eye out for any updates from Affinity.
  4. Thanks for the quick reply. After having disabled the "hardware acceleration" it's either the same or even worse. Additional info: I also tried with the tablet plugged in to the mac and no difference. Same as using it wirelessly. I've also tried in Affinity Photo and similar results. Also checked with Photoshop and 0 lag - very smooth and responsive. So I'm guessing it has something to do with a setting in Affinity.
  5. Issue: Brush lags significantly when drawing in Affinity Designer 2 System: Mac Studio M2, latest OS, Wacom tablet (PTH-451) using pen Observations: When using another app like Sketches there's 0 lag. There's also lagging when using a mouse. Not sure if my performance setting are correct but I've tried a few options with no real changes. I've dug through a number of forms and searches to no avail.
  6. Thanks for the suggestion. I have no idea why I didn't think of that font manager before - didn't realize it's not subscription based. BTW - Typeface support suggested a workaround that works! Place the font folder on an external connected drive. Problem solved, Affinity recognized the PS fonts instantly. I will take your suggestion and slowly start updating all PS fonts to OTF. I recently moved to Catalina which is why I've had to sort this stuff out. On a side note I just want to say that I'm really liking Publisher. I started off with Quark 1 and Adobe's subscription was highly motivating in me trying out Publisher. It's enjoyable to use.
  7. Interesting, I did not know this. I might might have to invest in updating my font collection. Besides Typeface, is there a font manager you woudl recommend that is not subscriptions based?
  8. Hello - I am using Typeface as well and having activation issues. For example I've activated Frutiger (PostScript Type 1) and it's not showing up in Publisher. However it does show up in Photoshop. I've restarted and all that. And then there are other fonts where it's no issue with them showing up in Publisher.
